The family of a University Place man is asking for your help finding the man who killed a 27 year old husband and father.
Tukwila police say Carlos Wayne Ellison who goes by the nickname "Loot" shot his best friend, 27 year old Rogers Jovan Ward. It happened in around 2:30 am at a Tukwila apartment in the 5700 block of South 152nd St.

U.S. Marshal Tom Lanier says a witness told detectives Ellison's own 15 month old child was in the room at the time.
Lanier says, "The witness to the shooting said that Ellison and his friend started arguing over a debt. He picked up the child to make sure he wasn't in the middle of the fight. At which point he turned and heard a loud bang and saw Ellison shoot his friend."
Lanier says they believe Ellison is still in the area. He has family in Burien and Northbend and friends in Renton Highlands.
Ward's sister-in-law Sade Harris is angry Ellison hasn't turned himself in. She says, "You took sombody's life..not only did you take somebody away that was special to us but you took somebody's life and I feel like you should pay for that, you do the crime, you do the time.
