House leaders: Illegals won't get rebate checks

Frank, you call 80 percent of the U.S. population illegal immigrant hardliners? Wake up and get your head out of your you know what! The majority of people in this country want secure borders. In fact, isn't that what practically everyone running for the presidency says they are going to do? Most folks are not in favor of amnesty. And most Americans sure as hell do not support tax rebate checks for illegals too.
Hardliners?!? Give me and 80 percent of the U.S. population a break!

Already Mark Krikorian has exposed the emptiness of Pelosi's and Boehner's promises:

These bills did nothing to relieve my taxes then, and they made the following years miserable...they were then what they are now..DEFERMENTS. What they conveniently omit while telling you how wonderful they are and how this money will spur the economy forth into a great growth period (not) is that you will pay for them next year.

I have a question about the rebate. Woman married to illegal. She is a born (white) citizen of America. 4 kids. He works with ITIN #. No drivers license.... Will she be able to receive the rebate if they file a joint return?

IT is sad to here such anger and all the negative. Every culture has people living off the country. Some people who crossed the imaginary line and broke a US law are not bad people. They made a dumb choice, some 10 to 20 years ago. When you lump people together you know its bad. When you say "all" it shows your lack of intelligence. A broken law tell me how many americans break laws everyday and never get punished or the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Look at all the law breakers in congress. Its a joke. What was negative about my statement?

So, in a country that runs on capitalism, & plenty of conservatives, like Mitt Romney, having illigal immigrants working for them (like the illegal immigrants doing his landscaping) suddenly crying that they shouldn't get tax rebates. Do any of them ever complain if they pay taxes? Talk about being hypocrites.

This country was built by immigrants, legal & illegal. Don't like that notion? Too bad.

By the way. I know a few illegal immigrants; They have careers, mortgages, & ironically enough, at least one lives next to a blowhard conservative who has the typical, narrow-minded stereotype of what an illegal immigrant is.

Gee, Jurgen, that's not a very American sounding name. Can we see your papers please? 'white america"? It's mostly that white america that is HIRING illegals and reaping the profits from it. You are reaping those profits as well. If they're being hired by Americans and they are paying US taxes, then they should get a rebate. It's the EMPLOYERS that are illegal...not just the workers.

Many illegals would send a large portion of their "rebate" back to their own country anyway, so what stimulus would that be for the US?

Who cares. . .you have no credibility. Your attempt to label Liberal and Communism on the same boat is so hypocritical since the "so-called Conservative" strongly support the Communist Chinese overseas. China now has a 15% annual GDP growth. Thanks to the outsourcing of jobs, toys and evrything else. Now, they have enough money to build and update their Army. Now, they have a stronger grip on Dafur, and around the world to spread their influence.

From what I can see regarding WalMart, Home Despot, Target, etc. these big boxes are employing the Communist Party model for manpower management and business planing.

Two notes of interest:

1. The debt grew at it's fastest rate under Reagan/Bush and Bush/Cheney. In fact it took off like a Scud missile under President Dimwit.

2. The debt only leveled off under Bill Clinton's term from about '96 to '00 due to his wise tax policies and economic prudence.

Now, when GWB/Cheney took office they started looking for reasons to cut taxes and run up the debt, in spite of the fact that the American people supported NOT cutting taxes and paying down the debt! You see, they actually wanted to destroy the effectiveness of the federal government. What better way to do it than destroying America's fiscal and financial standing?

The time around '99-'00 was a historic opportunity to reduce, (not eliminate entirely) the national debt. In fact, the American people, wisely, opposed all of Boy George's tax cuts at about the 65% level, give or take 4%.

Well, Cheney said 'deficits don't matter', and GWD said he 'hit the trifecta' and they chose to cut taxes on the wealthy in spite of America's opposition. They even cut taxes going into a costly and unnecessary war.

I see it as 'cutting off the nose of someone else to spite some unnamed third parties face'.

It's a fact; GWB cut taxes for ideological reasons despite the opposition the huge majority of American public opinion.

BTW, we saved our portion and that was attacked as unpatriotic. Hey! We may need another new muffler some day!

Sorry...the sob stories don't work anymore. We have American Citizens going without proper medical,housing and food. More today than ever because of the drain the illegal aliens have made on our country.

Hospitals have been forced to close down, going bankrupt from services rendered to illegal aliens with no intention of paying. Communities are being destroyed by the tax burden of educating illegal children.

After reading some of the comments. I would like to point out that a "tax rebate" is a rebate on the taxes I pay. If I don't pay taxes then I don't get one. If I pay taxes then I get one. If a company offers a rebate I first have to buy the product. IT IS NOT A HANDOUT PEOPLE!

Has anyone stopped to consider that if all the billions of US $$ being shipped south to Mexico and beyond has helped put our economy into the mess it is in. Guarantee you millions of the "rebate" goes south as well.

Unfortunately, many "stimulus" checks will be to people who do not pay income taxes, so, for them, it WILL be a handout. And, for many taxpayers (the ones who pay the lions' share of the total), there will be no rebate.

WHERE in the world does anyone get the idea that illegal immigrants get government aid such as welfare,foodstamps,housing,medicaid or any other "handouts"? Those immigrants working pay taxes in but are not entitled to refunds or any other government benefits.

These problems with illegal aliens has been going on for years. After the "operation wetback" program in the 50s ended it became a goal of all mexicans and future mexicans to take back what they lost in the mexican american war. This is known as the "Mexican conspiracy" or in their language- the"Reconquista".The rule is, too have as many babies as possible in mexico and when they become old enough to survive on their own they are sent one by one across the United States border, which they are told not to respect or honor. These people dont believe in borders. The goal is to make it to america and once here economically dain our societys resources. With a claim of assylum or refugee status they use our system of protections and entitlements.They are tought to have children upon arrival to "Anchor them to this nation"
through our failed loopholes in our laws. These anchor babies overcrowd schools and refuse to learn the basics of american education being provided to them at our expense. The mothers learn quickly more kids = more support for welfare,medical,food stamps, section 8 housing, the schools literally become day care centers for future gang members. All mexicans, are part of some sort of gang.Then as these groups of uneducated and un assimilated anchor babies find it hard to compete because of sheer numbers and competition, go back to what they have been tought and know best. Criminal activity. Then our jails, prisons, and juvenile facilties become drained as well. I am 53 years old this year.
I was born in Ashland County, Ohio.
My father and his father were born in Ashland County, Ohio.
I was 16 years old when I got my first job.
I paid my first FICA taxes to my Government at the age of 16.
I have paid taxes to my Government for 34 years.
I became unable to work when I was 50 years old from severe disc disease and spinal stenosis.
My Government told me I had handicaps, but could not get disability, food stamps or Medicaid.
I had a stroke at the age of 51, when I attempted to work again.
I applied for Disability, food stamps, Medicaid and Medicare at the age of 51.
I am now 53. My Government says I have severe handicaps, but I do not qualify for disability, food stamps, Medicain or Medicare.
I am 53 years old and I can barely climb the stairs so I slept on the couch downstairs.
I no longer drive due to my disc disease. My legs get numb and I cannot sit in one position. My concentration is poor and I forget simple things due to my stroke. Traffic panics me. I get lost in a town I have lived in for three years, and have to call my wife to talk me home.

My Government says I don't qualify for Disability.
I can not get Medicare.
I can not get Medicaid.
I can not get food stamps, emergency aid, Welfare, WICK, Section 8, 9 or 10...
