Here are a few Washington events of note for Friday, July 11.

The Commerce Department is releasing the trade balance report for May.

President Bush is meeting with his economic team.

A group of Native Americans is completing the Longest Walk II, from San Francisco to Washington, to promote protection of Sacred Sites and to raise environmental awareness.

Where is the journalism and truth - this page use to scream with how bad the war in Iraq is and most all your posters filled your page with hate of Bush and the need to surrender.

Not reported by the Swamp: the Sun Times reports that Barack Obama steered $100,000 in state funds to a campaign contributor to build a "garden" on Chicago's south side.
